Biography:
Kathleen graduated from the University of Michigan with a Master of Social Work Degree and a Certificate in Child Welfare. She has experience in home-based infant mental health and outpatient therapy with children, teens, adults, and families. Kathleen believes the key to treatment is a strong relationship between therapist and client, where the client feels safe, welcome, and supported. Kathleen has experience treating depression, anxiety, trauma, life transitions, stress, parenting concerns, relationships issues, and women’s issues. She utilizes a mix of cognitive-behavioral, dialectical behavioral, trauma-informed, and relationship-focused therapy in her work.
